Morton Dental is a preferred provider with the two major health funds. This means our patients receive the maximum benefit entitlement determind by the level of their Extras Cover – In some cases up to 90% of the cost. We also provide services for all other health fund patients using HICAPS to process claims.
Please note, your health fund benefit is calculated according to the level of Dental Extras Cover you have with your health insurer, and is not set by Morton Dental.

Welcome to our practice
We are happy to welcome you to our dental practice and want you to know that we appreciate the opportunity to take care of your dental needs. Our practice is focused on providing you with high quality, gentle dental care at a reasonable price.
Our aim is to be on time for your appointment, if we run late due to unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to advise you of the delay. We ask that you please give us as much notice a possible if you are unable to keep your appointment. This will enable us to help patients who need emergency treatment.
During your first visit, the Dentist will provide you with advice on the best treatment for you, along with a quote if required. More than one option may be available according to your budget and we are happy to discuss alternative treatments as necessary. We have longstanding relationships with excellent specialists should referral be needed.
Please download and print a medical-dental history form, found under the Patient Info tab or Click here…Please complete the health form and bring it with you to your first appointment. Also please remember to bring your health fund card to all appointments. Through Hicaps we can claim your benefits immediately BUT we cannot do this without your card to swipe.

Your First Appointment
Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete initial paperwork and ask any questions you have.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.
Remember our policy is to ‘pay on the day’ – we accept cash, cheque, credit card, EFTPOS, American Express and Diners.
HICAPS electronic on-the-spot claiming is available for patients with participating health fund memberships.
On the Day
Please switch your mobile phone off or to silent mode when you arrive.
If you have private health insurance please bring your membership card.
If you have a Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Pensioner Concession or Health Care cards or any other written material entitling you to subsidised treatment, please bring them along.
Dental x-rays you have had taken in the past may be of use.
If you’re taking any kind of medication at all, please provide us with a list of any pills, tablets, vitamins or other medications. You can download our medical dental history form complete it and bring it with you to your appointment. Click here…
